We are excited to have chosen the Chicago Marriott O’Hare to host BrittanaCon 2015! If you are going to be staying at this hotel for the duration of BrittanaCon, the block of sleeping rooms for our Con are at a discounted rate of $99/night for either king or double beds, up to 4 people per room. This rate will be available for rooms booked from Friday August 14, 2015 - Saturday August 15, 2015. You can book at this rate starting once registration opens and once you’ve registered until July 23, 2015 which is about one month before the Con. After the Cutoff Date, the hotel will release any unreserved rooms for general sale and, in the hotel’s discretion, will accept reservations at BrittanaCon’s group rate, on a space and rate available basis.

We have a limited amount of sleeping rooms that are blocked out for Friday and Saturday night so once you have registered as an attending member, you will receive the hotel reservation information. There will be a link where you can book your room directly using our Con rate and we will also provide the telephone number if you prefer to call and book your room (making sure you tell them that you are coming to attend BrittanaCon and will be booking under that rate).

Reservations will be made individually by those attending the Con. All reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card. The hotel will not hold any reservations unless secured by credit card. Individual to pay all guest room charges (cash paying guests may be asked to leave a cash or credit card deposit to guarantee payment). Cancellations can be made up to 24 hours before the reservation. If you cancel after that time frame, you will be responsible to pay at least one day of your reservation.

There is a free shuttle that runs to and from O’Hare airport/hotel and it runs on a 20 or 30 minute loop. If you plan on driving to the Con, there are parking charges:

Self-Overnight Parking* : $32.00
Self-Short-Term Parking 0-18 hours: $18.00

*Overnight parking rates includes “in and out” privileges for registered Hotel guests.

If you can, we recommend carpooling to mitigate the parking costs. If the parking costs are cost prohibitive to you attending the Con, please reach out to the BrittanaCon staff at brittanaconvention@gmail.com and we can see what we can work out for you. If the only thing that would stop you from attending is the cost of parking for the two nights, we definitely want to try and alleviate that concern and get you here to hang out with everyone!
